A better view of what the cleanser looks like
"Winner, Shecky's "Beauty At Its Best" Award 2013. Your skin will feel surprisingly clean, smooth, and moisturized, not over dry. Soap-free, this product contains nourishing aloe and vegetable glycerin to hydrate and maintain your skin’s natural protective barrier. Jojoba oil adds moisture and, along with witch hazel, grapefruit, and rosemary, promotes the removal of unwanted oils and residue.
A soap free natural hydrating facial cleanser
Will not dry or compromise skin’s natural protection
Provides the perfect touch of moisture
Nourishes the skin as it cleanses."
Also worth noting, this cleanser is gluten-free, and vegan. I have very dry, sensitive skin, and this cleanser is one of the few my skin actually likes! It's very gentle, and doesn't dry out my skin, but also it doesn't leave any greasy residue behind which is the main thing I look for in a cleanser geared towards dry skin.
This cleanser doesn't cause me to break out either which is a huge bonus. This cleanser keeps my skin clean, and even removes my face makeup such as concealer and blush with no problem-- excellent cleanser for normal/dry skin!
Organic Almond Oatmeal Facial Scrub $9.95
"Your face will feel luxuriously soft and silky after using this gentle exfoliating scrub. Finely ground raw almonds and natural oatmeal loosen and slough away the skin’s lifeless surface layer, exposing and nourishing the fresh new skin beneath. So effective, it even tames the rough skin on elbows and knees. Great to use after our French Green Clay Mask. If you have overly dry skin, use before the French Green Clay Mask. Use once or twice weekly.
Softens, refreshes, nourishes
Proteins help maintain skin’s natural barrier
Powder format adds shelf life"
Also worth noting, this scrub is vegan.
This scrub works wonderfully! You can mix it with either water or cleanser, but I tend to mix it with my Citrus Cleanser (see above.) This is a very gentle scrub, and does not irritate my sensitive skin, the exfoliators are fine other than the almond chunks so I have no problems using this two times a week for a light exfoliation. It also works well as a body scrub when mixed with your body wash, super multipurpose product.
Overall, I would recommend giving both of these products a try especially if you have a similar skin type to mine.
