The scent of this soap is a blend of lemon, orange, grapefruit, mandarin, lime, and bergamot. I mostly pick up on the grapefruit, orange, and lime, but either way it smells wonderful, and is a great unisex scent.
Savannah Sunrise Natural Vegan Shaving Soap $7.95
"After spending a little time in the south we came to realize one thing, the trees and flowers smell fantastic in the summer! We wanted a soap that took us on a morning walk through a fruit orchard in Savannah and after a little experimentation we released Savannah Sunrise."
This scent includes hints of orange blossom, peach, gardenia, jasmine and honeysuckle. Usually with blended fruity/floral combinations such as this certain tones will stand out more than others, but this blend really harmonizes well and you get a little bit of everything with every sniff!
Absolutely love this scent--I'd honestly wear it as a perfume if they ever came out with it in perfume or body spray form!
A little bit about shaving soaps they're generally used by men to shave their faces, but they work well for us ladies too for shaving our legs etc!
How to use shaving soaps
-Wet a shaving brush under hot water and allow it a little time to soak up water.
-Lather up the soap in a circular motion until you have less bubbles and more of a thick, rich lather.
-Massage into skin in the same circular motions you use to pick up soap on to the brush until you have an even layer, and finally shave away!
A couple things I noticed that were different when using shaving soap as opposed to shaving cream were that my skin felt better protected not a single nick or cut, my skin which is normally dry felt so much more moisturized, and the best part was I got a much closer and longer lasting shave than I have with any other shaving product!

This brush is super high quality especially for the price! (Shaving brushes tend to be pretty pricey) the quality is great because it quickly absorbs water, quickly dries, but also the entire time I have been using it, it has only ever shed one hair and that was upon first use, it's also super soft!
Overall, I was super impressed with my first time trying shaving soaps, I don't see myself ever going back to shaving cream! Highly recommend Dr. Jon's Shaving products.
